Hosted Online -- Or On Your LAN

At Applied Systems, we offer you a choice of ways to access our solutions. With the hosted mode, you access your solution online via the Internet. With the LAN-based option, you install and maintain it yourself, on your server in your data center.

Hosted Mode

With hosted mode, we maintain your solution in our state-of-the-art data center. You offload the tasks of installing and updating, securing servers, guarding against intrusions and backing up your data. This frees you to focus on what you do best – sell insurance and serve your customers.

For most brokerages, this is the preferred option for deploying Epic or TAM.

Hosted-mode gives you:

  • Access anytime, from anywhere. Your producers and CSRs can service customers anywhere they have an Internet connection.
  • More automation for less IT budget. We upgrade the software and maintain the hardware. You have continuous access to the latest versions without the costs and responsibilities of maintaining the IT infrastructure.
  • Greater productivity, less overhead. You don't have to incur the productivity loss when your staff members have to administer your solutions, or the costs of employing full-time IT personnel or hiring consultants.
  • Higher security for your data. You would be unlikely to be able to duplicate the degree of security and safety we offer you. Our solutions are housed in fully-staffed, state-of-the-art data centers with multiple security levels, sophisticated technology and backup, and triple redundancy. Since our ASP-hosted solutions went live in October 2000, they have never been compromised by a virus.

LAN-Based Install

Our LAN-based solution may be the preferred option for larger brokerages if you already have your own:

  • full-time IT staff
  • data center
  • resources for handling redundancy, backup and other overhead

Epic and TAM are both available on LAN. And our knowledgeable tech support is always there if you need them.
