Applied Systems honors carriers for insurance interface advances
ASCnet TENCon Special - Kansas City, Mo. - October 15, 2009 - Insurance technology company Applied Systems today recognized 61 insurance carriers for outstanding achievements in agency-carrier communication, acknowledging the companies' contributions to increasing efficiencies in insurance transactions in the United States and Canada.
Each recipient of Applied Systems' 2009 Interface Partner Award provides a full suite of interface transactions to agents and brokers, enabling download, real-time inquiry and real-time rating. Agents and brokers widely acknowledge that this range of transactions makes carriers easiest to do business with.
"2009 was a big year for agency-carrier interface initiatives," said Doug Johnston, Applied Systems vice president of Partner Relations & Product Innovations. "Applied Systems customers had more new interface activations than ever before, and we are happy to recognize the companies who deliver the innovations allowing such progress."
Applied Systems presented the awards during a luncheon ceremony in Kansas City, Missouri, during 2009 TENCon, the Technology, Education & Networking Conference hosted by ASCnet, the Applied Systems Client Network.
